A second Chowan County School threat was made Tuesday night and now a student has been arrested.
A John A. Holmes High School student is under arrest tonight. Deputies say he made that threat to the school district.
Christopher Freeman, 16, is charged with making a false report of mass violence on educational property.
The sheriff's department says it does not believe there is a connection between the threat Freeman is tied to and the one that closed the entire school district on Monday.
