Burglars sought after breaking into neighborhood convenience store

Portsmouth Police are looking for three people who burglarized a neighborhood convenience store early Thursday morning.

Detectives say the three broke the glass on the front door of the Brighton Convenience Store in the 1200 block of Portsmouth Boulevard around 2:00 a.m.

The thieves then stole two counter displays of cigarettes and lottery tickets.

The total loss was worth over $5,000, including damage done.
