Norfolk, Va. - On Wednesday, the Coast Guard medevaced a 57-year-old woman from the Carnival Splendor 80 miles east of Norfolk.
They received the call at 10:45 a.m. about the woman who needed medical assistance.
Crews on an MH-60 Jayhawk helicopter from Elizabeth City responded.
They arrived at 12:30 p.m. and lifted the woman into the helicopter and she was then taken to Sentara Norfolk General.
There's no word on her condition.
