The United States Marshals Service has announced that a 27-year-old man who had been wanted for malicious wounding by mob, murder by mob and participation in street gang activity has been arrested in Cincinnati.

An arrested warrant had been issued for John Logan on September 9th.

On April 13, 2013 at 2:04 a.m. the Northampton County Sheriff’s Office responded to A&E Auto Repair located at 8131 Sylvan Scene Drive in Machipongo, for a report of a shooting victim.

Officers who responded to the scene say one person had been transported by private vehicle to Riverside Shore Memorial Hospital. When deputies arrived at Riverside Shore Memorial Hospital, they found 23-year-old Jessie Leon Jordan of Cheriton was deceased.

Further investigation surrounding evidence led Northampton County to indict Logan in connection with the crime.

The U.S. Marshal’s Service learned that Logan had fled the area and was possibly staying with family in the Cincinnati area.

An address was developed in OH and Logan was arrested without incident by the US Marshals’ Southern Ohio Fugitive Apprehension Strike Team (SOFAST) Wednesday morning.
