Norfolk, Va. - Police are now investigating after they say a man who was shot, slammed into a pole in the Ingleside area of Norfolk on Thursday night.
Calls came in about the accident at 8:19 p.m.
The man hit a pole in the 900 block of Ingleside Road. He was taken to Sentara Norfolk General with life-threatening injuries. A physician discovered that he'd been shot. He was pronounced dead at the hospital.
Homicide detectives are now investigating.
Right now, there are no motive, suspect or arrest details.
