Chesapeake, Va. - Thousands of customers lost power in Chesapeake on Thursday night after Dominion Power says there was an equipment failure.
This happened at around 8 p.m. near the area of Galberry Road and Ferncliff Ct. in the Deep Creek area.
There were reports of wires down in the area, but the location is unknown.
About 3,822 customers were affected by the outage. Dominion Power says service has been restored for all but 195 customers.
They expect to have everyone restored by midnight.
