Edenton, NC. – The Edenton Police Department is cooperating with the NC State Bureau of Investigation to investigate a shooting that occurred inside the Crown Food Mart on Saturday, November 2, 2013 at 2:10pm.
Officials reported to a call of a shooting at the Crown Food Mart on the 300 block of N. Oakum Street in Edenton.
35 year old Maurice Mabine and 29 year old Trenita Jackson received single gunshot wounds and were treated at Vidant Chowan Medical Center. Both individuals are reported to be in good condition.
