Seven people were displaced Monday morning after a car drove into a house in the 1200 block of Florida Avenue in Portsmouth.
Portsmouth Police say the driver of the vehicle told officers that he had a medical emergency.
The driver was not injured but was transported to a hospital for the medical emergency. He has been charged with driver without a license.
One adult female inside the home was treated at the scene.
A total of three adults and four children were displaced after the home was condemned.
The children were at school at the time of the crash. The Red Cross has responded to provide the people with lodging assistance.
