UPDATE: David Smith has just been sentenced to three years in prison, which will be followed by 30 years of probation.
On Tuesday, a former Norfolk pastor convicted of possessing child pornography is scheduled to be sentenced.
David Smith pleaded guilty to 10 charges of possession of child pornography back in July.
Smith was a pastor at Trinity Lutheran Church and School for two years.
Investigators say the crimes did not involve anyone from the church or school, and that there is no evidence Smith had sexual contact with any child.
Smith faces 50 years in prison.
