Portsmouth, Va. – The I-264 West Downtown Tunnel will remain open this weekend for the Veterans Day holiday, Friday, November 8, through Monday, November 11.
Crews will resume rehabilitation of the I-264 West Downtown Tunnel with a westbound full tunnel closure on the evening of Tuesday, November 12 at 8 p.m.
Full overnight closures westbound can be expected seven days a week through summer 2014, with the exception of holiday and designated event weekends.
The eastbound tunnel is not affected and will remain open to vehicular traffic.
