Virginia Beach resident Shirley Clanton-Jennings matched all five numbers in the Virginia Lottery Cash 5 game on November 4th, winning $100,000.
She said she had a little trouble believing her husband when he told her she won.
“I said, ‘Get out of here, you’re lying!’” she told Virginia Lottery officials.
She bought the winning ticket at Farm Fresh at 1385 Fordham Drive.
The winning numbers were 11-13-17-18-26. She selected the numbers on her ticket using family birthdays.
Cash 5 drawings are held daily at 1:59 p.m. and 11:00 p.m. The chances of winning the $100,000 top prize are 1 in 278,256.
