Previously:
VDOT is reporting that a vehicle fire on the westbound side of I-64 on the High Rise Bridge is blocking traffic.
Westbound is completely closed. The eastbound lanes are closed just to allow emergency vehicles through. Traffic backups are approximately 4.3 miles westbound and 1.5 miles eastbound.
Major delays are expected to continue.
