Hampton Va. – One person was taken to the hospital for a burn to the arm after a house fire overnight in Hampton.
The fire happened at a house in the 3600 block of Lauderdale Ave. Upon arrival units said heavy fire and smoke was coming from the side and rear of the house.
All occupants of the house were outside at the time Fire units arrived. The home had severe damage to it and the Red Cross assisted t the family. One neighbor’s home sustained siding damage due to the heat of the fire.
The fire is currently under investigation.
