Hampton Police looking for robbery suspect

Hampton Police are looking for a man they say is responsible for a robbery that occurred on November 9th.

Police say they received a report of the robbery on Sunday at 10:07 a.m. from the NTelos in the 2300 block of West Mercury Boulevard.

According to police, the clerk was met at the rear door of the business by an unknown suspect who implied he had a weapon.

The suspect walked with the employee into the business and demanded money. After taking an undisclosed amount of money, the suspect ran from the business.

No one was injured.

The suspect is a male who was last seen wearing a black Pittsburgh Pirates baseball cap, grey hooded sweatshirt, black and white camouflage t-shirt, black sunglasses and a medical mask to conceal his identity.
