Newport News, Va. – A garage and two cars were heavily damaged in an early-morning fire in Newport News.
Fire crews arrived at the scene in the 300 block of Nesbitt Court at approximately 1:02 a.m. Saturday morning and had the blaze completely extinguished at 1:32 a.m.
There was extensive damage to the garage itself and two vehicles outside the garage.
There was minor damage to the exterior of the home from the heat. No injuries were reported.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
