Units damaged, one injured after Norfolk apartment fire

Norfolk, Va. – Several units were damaged after a fire broke out at an apartment building in the 3800 block of E. Princess Anne Road.

There were eight units total in the building.

Crews received calls about smoke and flames on the first floor at around 9:33 p.m. on Tuesday night.

Officials say four units sustained smoke damage, two upstairs and two others downstairs.

One of the apartments had fire damage.

Right now, fire crews say no one requires assistance from the Red Cross.

One person was injured. Officials tell NewsChannel 3 the victim sustained minor burns to his hand. He refused medical treatment and was not transported.
