Three arrested after shooting at Campostella McDonald’s in Norfolk

Norfolk, Va. - A man was shot near a Norfolk McDonald’s late last night.

Police say they got a call about a shooting at the McDonald’s in the 1000 block of Campostella Road around 11:30 p.m. Wednesday night. The victim was outside and in front of the restaurant, when he was shot by a person inside a passing vehicle, police say.

The victim was transported to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The suspected vehicle involved was located around 3:15 a.m. Three occupants of the suspect vehicle were taken into custody in the 3700 block of Buckingham Avenue.

Police have arrested 18-year-old Jaquan Lawrence, 21-year-old Jaquai Ried and 20-year-old Julius Parker.

All three have been charged with Malicious Wounding, Conspiracy to Commit Malicious Wounding, Use of a Firearm, Shooting into an Occupied Dwelling, and Possession of Stolen Property.
