Suffolk, Va. – A Lakeland High School student was arrested Thursday afternoon for making a bomb threat.
Suffolk Fire & Rescue and Suffolk Police were dispatched to the school at 2:09 p.m.
The student has been identified as 19-year-old Veronica Beverly Fullerton. She reportedly made the threat and was overheard by a teacher.
She has been arrested and charged with Threatening to Bomb or Burn School.
The Suffolk Fire Marshal’s Office is conducting the investigation.
