Virginia Beach, Va. - A gas leak has been reported in the 2800 block of Crusader Circle, according to Virginia Beach Police Dispatch.

The call came in at 10:16 a.m. on Monday, November 25, 2013.

A one inch gas line was cut by a contractor working on site, according to Amy Valdez of the Virginia Beach Fire Department.

An employee from a nearby business called to report the gas leak. The business was then evacuated by staff members, as a precaution.

No hazardous levels of gas were found in the structure.

Officials say "all of the hazardous atmosphere is contained to the area directly surrounding the leak".

Virginia Natural Gas is responding to the scene.

Crusader Circle is shut down to traffic for the next 20-45 minutes.
