Surry County, Va. - A fire destroyed two apartments in Surry County on Thursday morning.
The call came in at 8:55 a.m. The fire began in a second floor apartment, and officials believe the cause was related to an outlet.
About six units suffered water and smoke damage, and officials say between 12 and 15 people were displaced by the blaze.
Social Services and The Red Cross are assisting.
