Portsmouth, Va. – A man has been taken to the hospital after police say he was shot near the intersection of Deep Creek Blvd. and Graham Street.
Calls came in about the incident at around 4:16 p.m. on Monday.
When officers arrived, they found a 19-year-old man who was suffering from a gunshot wound to the torso.
They say he was taken to Sentara Norfolk General and his injuries do not appear to be life-threatening.
