Hampton, Va. – A 67-year-old woman was pronounced dead after a two-vehicle crash in Hampton on Monday.
Police say they received calls about the crash at 12:46 p.m.
They say this happened at the intersection of Big Bethel Road and Michaels Woods Drive.
Crews responded to the scene and found Patricia Meyer suffering from what they say appeared to be non-life threatening injuries at the time.
She was then taken to the hospital. On Tuesday morning at around 7 a.m., crews were notified that Meyer had been pronounced dead at 8 p.m.
Police say a 2005 Ford Explorer was going southbound on Big Bethel Road when it hit a 2000 Oldsmobile Alero that was going eastbound on Michaels Woods Drive. They say Meyer was driving the Oldsmobile.
