Kill Devil Hills, NC – A Kill Devil Hills man is in custody after a fight turned into a shooting Tuesday evening.
Police who responded to the scene on Cambridge Road determined that two men had been fighting in the parking lot of a building complex and a shot was fired.
One of the men was transported to Outer Banks Hospital by Dare County EMS with non-life threatening injuries.
33-year-old James Morris Rose III was arrested and charged with Assault with a Deadly Weapon with Intent to Kill.
Police continue to investigate the case.
