UPDATE: Scene has been cleared.
Suffolk, Va. – An accident involving an 18-wheeler has been reported in the 3300 block of Holland Road, according to police dispatch.
It happened around 6:20 a.m. The 18-wheeler went off the road, and the wheels were stuck in a ditch, officials say.
As the truck was trying to get out of the ditch, mud was splattered.
Lanes were closed so crews could clean mud off the roads.
The driver sustained minor injuries.
