Suffolk police searching for man and woman who robbed Kangaroo Express

Suffolk, Va. – Suffolk Police are asking for help identifying a man and woman who robbed the Kangaroo Express on Wilroy Road Sunday afternoon.

The man and woman entered the store shortly before 12:30 pm and demanded the money that was in the register. The man was armed with a handgun.

The two fled in a red/burgundy Kia Rio with an undetermined amount of money. No one was injured in the incident.

Police described the two as a white man, 18 to 28 years of age, 6’2” to 6’4”, skinny build, wearing a black coat with hood up, light colored shirt, blue jeans, black tennis shoes, and sunglasses. The woman is a white female, 18 to 28 years of age, 5’2” to 5’6”, skinny build, wearing a black coat with hood up, black pants, black shoes, and sunglasses.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Crime Line at 1-888-Lock-U-Up. When calling Crime Line, callers do not have to give their names or appear in court. If information leads to an arrest, the caller could qualify for a reward of up to $1,000.
