“A Christmas Story” has taken the title of Best Christmas Classic after winning by only 15 votes over Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer!

Day 3 took our final four and turned them into the top 2 finalists. “A Christmas Story” barely squeezed out a win over “It’s A Wonderful Life,” winning by just 8 votes. And in our final cartoon clash, Rudolph took the win over the mean one, Mr. Grinch.

Day 2 narrowed down the top 8 to our final four. In a tough competition of cartoon classics, The Grinch slithered away with a win against Mickey while Rudolph sailed past Santa in a fierce stop-motion match-up.

In the two closest polls, the classic “It’s A Wonderful Life” narrowly defeated “Home Alone” by 63 votes while “A Christmas Story” clinched an 84-vote win over “The Santa Clause.”

After tough competition in the field of 16, there were several close races at the end of day one.

It’s A Wonderful Life beat out Miracle on 34th Street by just 12 votes, the closest of any race. But not far behind was A Christmas Story, which beat out National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation by 16 votes. Mickey proved to be the champion over The Muppets in the Christmas Carol battle, winning by 50 votes.
