Portsmouth, Va. - Three robberies occurred in three days in the city of Portsmouth, and police believe the same suspects committed all three crimes.

The first one happened at the "Old Town Food Mart" on Portsmouth Boulevard.

Officers say two suspects walked into the place at around 7:30 Tuesday night and held it up at gunpoint.

Another robbery happened at "My Neighbors" Food Mart on Greenwood Drive.

Police tell NewsChannel 3 that two men held up that store at gunpoint just before 10 p.m. on Tuesday and then ran off with the money.

On Wednesday, police released surveillance photos from a robbery on Portsmouth Boulevard that happened at around 1:30 a.m. at the “One Stop” convenience store.

Just like the other two incidents, detectives say two men came in and robbed the store at gunpoint. They got away with about $40 police say.

Police say no one was hurt in any of the incidents.
