Three displaced after fire at Chesapeake home

Chesapeake, Va. – A family of three has been displaced after a fire broke out at a Deep Creek home on Wednesday.

The home was located in the 3200 block of Farange Drive.

When firefighters arrived on the scene, they found smoke inside of the two-story home.

It took them eight minutes to put the fire out.

They are ruling the fire accidental.

They say it started near the family’s Christmas tree.

No one was injured. They are working with their insurance company now for lodging arrangements.
