Suffolk Police are investigating an armed robbery that took place early Friday at approximately 5:15 a.m. at the Miller Mart in the 1500 block of Holland Road.
Police say the clerk at the Miller Mart advised them that a black male entered the store and displayed a handgun, demanding money.
The suspect was described as approximately 35 to 45 years old, 5’6” to 5’8”, and weighing approximately 160 to 190 pounds. He was wearing a beige ball cap, a black puffy coat and dark pants.
The suspect fled after taking an undisclosed amount of cash. No one was injured.
