More than 4,000 people lost power in Norfolk Monday morning, according to the Dominion Virginia Power Outage Map.
At 8:17 a.m., 4,532 customers lost power in the Sewells Point area, including parts of ODU, Norfolk International Terminals, NIT, Monroe Elementary and Camp Allen Elementary, according to Dominion Spokesperson, Bonita Harris.
Power has been restored to most customers at this time, Harris says.
The cause of the outage is unknown; crews are investigating.
