PHOTOS: Two people without a home after Portsmouth fire

Portsmouth, Va. – Crews have responded to a house fire in the 1700 block of Hodges Ferry Road in Portsmouth.

The homeowner reported loud popping noises, and noticed smoke, according to a spokesperson for the Portsmouth Fire Department.

The homeowner was home at the time of the fire, and was able to make it out safely with a dog.

The fire has been put out.

Two adults will be displaced. No injuries have been reported.
