Update: Missing Suffolk man located by family

UPDATE: Herbert Lee Riddick, Jr., who was reported missing on Jan. 6th, has been found police tell NewsChannel 3. 

They say he was found by family members at a motel in Portsmouth Wednesday. 

No other details have been released. 

Suffolk, Va – The Suffolk Police Department is seeking assistance from the public in locating a man that was reported missing by his family on January 6, 2014.

Herbert Lee Riddick, Jr., age 49, was last seen in the area of Nansemond Parkway/Beamons Mill on January 3, 2014. He is described as a black male at approximately 5’11”, around 155 pounds, with a dark complexion, dark beard, black low haircut and wearing glasses.

Riddick was last seen wearing a brown cowboy hat, black leather jacket, black dress pants, black shirt and black or brown colored dress shoes.
