Norfolk, Va. – A person was found suffering from a gunshot wound Thursday morning in Norfolk, according to police dispatch.
At approximately 1:40 a.m. on Thursday, January 9, 2014, a call was made to Norfolk police for an adult male gunshot victim in the 500 Block of Birmingham Avenue.
The victim told detectives he was approached by a male suspect who brandished a handgun and demanded money. The victim was transported to the hospital by medics with non life threatening injuries.
An investigation is ongoing.
