Virginia Beach, Va. - Virginia Beach Police detectives and officers are investigating a bank robbery at Towne Bank located at 948 First Colonial Road.
They say Demetreus Dancy went into the bank, displayed a weapon and demanded money.
After getting the money, he left the bank and got into a vehicle.
Vehicle and suspect information was relayed to officers.
They stopped a vehicle on I-264 westbound at Witchduck Road and took three people of interest into custody.
The interstate was blocked causing heavy congestion in the area.
