Newport News, Va. - The Newport News Fire Department put out a two-alarm fire at the Hall Acura on 12501 Jefferson Avenue.

They say calls came in at 5:14 p.m. about a structure fire at the business.

When units arrived moments later, they saw heavy smoke coming from the roof. They searched for employees and all of the workers were able to get out.

At 5:42 p.m. a second alarm was called for additional resources.

The fire started on the second floor in a room according to a preliminary investigation.

Flames then extended to the ceiling and attic area and ignited roof materials.

Officials say no one was injured.

They say the fire caused about $250,000 to $300,000 worth of damage.
