Police car strikes sedan on East Little Creek Road in Norfolk

Norfolk, Va. – An accident involving a police car has been reported in the 1800 block of East Little Creek Road in Norfolk, according to police dispatch.

The call came in at 11:40 a.m. on Tuesday.

A marked police unit was responding to a “burglary in progress call”. The unit was traveling eastbound in the 1800 block of Little Creek Road, when it struck a white sedan at an intersection, according to Norfolk Police.

The sedan pulled out in front of the police car and the police car struck the sedan.

The police car was using lights and sirens.

Medics responded, but neither party needed treatment, police say.

No injuries have been reported.
