Due to extremely foggy conditions on the Currituck Sound, the 11 a.m. run from Currituck to Knotts Island and the noon return trip have been cancelled, according to the North Carolina Ferry System.
Officials are hoping that fog will clear before the next scheduled trip at 1 p.m.
