Portsmouth, Va. – Portsmouth firefighters put out a fire at a home in the 2000 block of North Street this morning.
The initial call came in at 8:41am.
The homeowner’s brother tells Darragh Copley that three people inside woke up to the fire and got out safely.
He says fire damaged the home, but can be repaired, and is grateful no one was hurt. The family thinks it was an electrical problem that sparked the blaze.
