Update: The accident has been cleared and traffic is moving again on I-64.
Hampton, Va. – An accident on Interstate 64 in Hampton is causing some backups for drivers.
According to VDOT, three lanes are closed on I-64 westbound because of an accident near Hampton Roads Center Pkwy. The west left shoulder, left lane, and left center lane are closed.
Traffic is backed up for about a mile.
