Missing Portsmouth woman found in Florida

UPDATE: At approximately 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Detectives with the Portsmouth Police Special Victims unit were notified by officers in Miami-Dade County, Florida that Horton was located. She is safe and unharmed. 

Portsmouth, Va. – Portsmouth Police need your help to find 49-year-old Zuleika Sabina Horton who has been reported missing.

Detectives say no one has heard from or seen Horton since January 14, 2014.

They are concerned about Horton’s well being. She depends on prescription medication for a medical condition and she has not picked it up. Her family says it is unusual for her not to call or stop by to check in with them.

She is described as a black female who is about 5’7″ tall, she weighs about 200 pounds and has black hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a waist-length black coat and she was carrying a black duffle bag.

She is known to frequent the downtown Portsmouth area.
