The James River Bridge has reopened after a serious accident in the southbound lanes. The northbound lanes were also closed to allow emergency vehicles access to the scene.
State Police say the crash involved three vehicles, one of which overturned.
Avoid the bridge and use the Monitor-Merrimac as your alternate route.
