Master Chief Petty Officer Yves Raynaud was relieved of his duties as command master chief at Joint Expeditionary Base Little Creek – Fort Story on Monday.

The installation’s commander, Capt. Frank E. Hughlett, relieved Raynaud due to a loss of confidence in his ability to serve as the command’s senior enlisted advisor.

Raynaud had been serving in his position since October 7th, 2013. He has been temporarily reassigned to the staff of Command, Navy Region Mid-Atlantic.

Senior Chief Petty Officer Johnlyn Bolden is serving as the acting command master chief until a permanent relief is identified.
