Chesapeake, Va. – A man is now being assisted by the Red Cross after a fire broke out at a Chesapeake home.
Fire officials say this happened in the 2600 block of Hemple Street.
Calls came in about the fire at around 1:35 p.m. and crews arrived at 1:41 p.m.
When they arrived, they saw light smoke coming from the home. They were able to get the flames under control at 1:52 p.m.
No one was injured. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
