Newport News, Va. – Warwick Blvd. has reopened after a police officer was injured in a motorcycle crash on Warwick Blvd. at Export Circle.
The motorcycle officer was traveling northbound on Warwick Blvd. when a woman driving a white Kia Sedona van made a left turn from Warwick Blvd onto Export Circle.
The officer collided with the rear passenger side of the van and was transported to a local hospital with nonlife threatening injuries.
The woman was examined by medics at the scene.
The crash is being investigated by the Newport News Police Crash Reconstruction Team.
