Norfolk, Va. – Norfolk State University held its annual First View event Saturday at the L. Douglas Wilder Performing Arts Center.
The open house-style program is a way for NSU to showcase what they can offer to prospective students.
A performance by the Spartan Legion, NSU’s marching band, kicked things off. There was an information session for each major offered and a student organization fair.
Prospective students were eligible for on-site admissions at the event by bringing two letters of recommendation, an official transcript and test scores.
Campus tours are also held throughout the year. A schedule can be found on NSU’s website.
