Norfolk, Va. - 9-year-old author Sumayyah Muhammad is one of several local authors signing books and greeting fans during the Southeast Virginia Author Showcase. Today, she shares her poetry on WTKR/WGNT.
She is the author of "Little Wisdom," an Amazon bestseller. She released her book in August 2013. It's an inspirational book of poems that focus on topics like family, friends, happiness, and enjoying life.
The Gallery at Military Circle is hosting the Southeast Virginia Author Showcase featuring various authors each Saturday, March 15 through Sunday, April 26 from 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. The showcase will be held in the Mall food court.
