UPDATE: Man injured in Norfolk weekend shooting now recovering

UPDATE: A man who was injured in a shooting on Friday night is now recovering police say. His injuries were not life-threatening. 

Police say the suspects were seen leaving in a vehicle but there is no description of the vehicle at this time. 

No other details have been released. 

Norfolk, Va. – Norfolk police are investigating after person was shot early Friday evening.

The call of a male gun shot victim came in around 7:30 p.m., in the 6900 block of Gregory Drive.

At this time it isn’t known if the victim is an adult or child.

Medics responded and transported the victim to Sentara Norfolk General. His injuries are not considered to be life-threatening.

Police do not have any suspect information at this time.

This is the second shooting Norfolk police have responded to this evening. This one, happened just minutes after the first.
