Friends remember 18-year-old girl killed in Norfolk shooting

Norfolk, Va. - An 18-year-old girl is dead after an early morning shooting Sunday in Norfolk.

Tyquisha Craig was killed after a fight at a party in a home spilled out into the street and shots were fired, according to police.

The shooting was initially reported around 1:30 a.m. in the 1000 block of St. Julian.

Craig was taken to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital with life threatening injuries and later pronounced dead at approximately 9:15 a.m.

A 16-year-old girl also suffered a gunshot injury. She was taken to Sentara Norfolk by private vehicle with a non-life threatening injury. She was treated and released.

There is no suspect or motive information.
