Norfolk, Va. – The Downtown Tunnel closures that were scheduled for Friday and Saturday this weekend have now been canceled.
Elizabeth River Tunnels canceled the rehabilitation-related closure and they plan to resume them next week on April 4th 8 p.m. until April 5th 8 a.m.
There will be full overnight closures on Friday, April 11th and Saturday, April 12th.
The work will continue through this summer. The tunnel will not close on holidays or event weekends.
