Newport News, Va. - A man is wanted for stealing numerous cleaning supplies from a Newport News business, police tell NewsChannel 3.
On March 23, 2014 at about 10:40 p.m., a man entered the 7-Eleven store located at 2600 Jefferson Avenue. He picked up cleaning supplies (two bottles of Gain, one bottle of Extra washing detergent, two boxes of Bounce dryer sheets, four cans of Glade, and two cans of Lysol deodorant spray) and proceeded to leave the store with no attempt to make a payment, police say.
The man placed all the items under his coat and ran away from the store heading southbound.
The suspect is described as a black male about 5'5 in height and weighing about 160 pounds.
